Caitlin Hunt is an associate attorney with Wheeler, DiUlio & Barnabei, P.C., where she represents policyholders in first-party property insurance disputes and related litigation.

Before joining the firm, Caitlin served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. In that role, she gained substantial courtroom experience handling matters from their earliest stages through resolution. She litigated hundreds of motions, more than one hundred preliminary hearings, numerous bench trials, and matters before the grand jury. Her caseload included serious criminal matters involving alleged violent offenses, firearms violations, and controlled substances. She also negotiated case resolutions, managed discovery, worked closely with law enforcement, and participated in Philadelphia’s Mental Health Diversion Program. Public records likewise confirm her service as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia.

Caitlin earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2024. While in law school, she served as President and Secretary of the Children’s Justice Project and as Vice President of the American Constitution Society. She also spent nearly two years with the Frank J. Remington Center’s Legal Assistance to Incarcerated People Clinic, where she represented clients in civil and criminal matters. During law school, Caitlin also served as an extern with the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Criminal Appeals and Litigation Unit, where she researched appellate issues and drafted briefs and legal memoranda. The University of Wisconsin’s 2024 commencement program confirms her membership in that graduating class.

Prior to law school, Caitlin earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, majoring in Social Work with a minor in Criminal Justice. She later worked as a case manager with Wisconsin Community Services, coordinating care and community-based services for individuals with significant mental-health needs. That experience, combined with her courtroom background, has given Caitlin an appreciation for both the legal and personal consequences that disputes can have for the people involved.

Caitlin is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Outside of the office, she enjoys jiu-jitsu, reading books that have been adapted for film, and trying new restaurants.
