Daniel Rooney is a dedicated litigator and brief-writer at Wheeler, DiUlio & Barnabei. Since joining the firm during his law school, Daniel’s written advocacy has helped his clients pursue success at trial and on appeal.
Daniel is a graduate, cum laude, of Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. At Villanova, Daniel, alongside teammate Jillian, won the 64th Annual Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition, an appellate advocacy competition open to second-year law students. He went on to serve as an executive member of the Murphy Family Endowed Moot Court Board, administering the 65th Reimel Competition in his 3L year. Outside the classroom, Daniel served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Deborah A. Krull of the Court of Common Pleas for Delaware County, and as a judicial extern for the Hon. Kelley B. Hodge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Daniel is an undergraduate alum of Providence College, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in American Studies. Daniel was a captain and four-year member of the Providence College Track and Field Team, earning Big East All-Academic Honors for his work as a student-athlete.
Daniel was born and raised in Rochester, New York, and loves to visit Upstate New York whenever he has the chance. Outside of work, he enjoys running, reading, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
