As an attorney at Wheeler, DiUlio, & Barnabei, Mario is committed to helping his clients succeed in reaching their goals. He works diligently toward securing the best results possible for the clients he represents, no matter how complex the matter at hand.

Mario grew up in Weirton, WV (a small suburb of Pittsburgh, PA). Before attending law school, Mario graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Virginia University in 2008 with a degree in Political Science & Pre-Law/Legal Studies. While continuing to work full-time, he went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Business Administration from West Virginia University.

Mario moved to Philadelphia in 2010 to attend Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law. During law school, he concentrated his studies on Business & Entrepreneurship Law and Intellectual Property Law. He also honed his writing skills by taking two full years of Legal Research and Writing/Drafting classes, which culminated in his being awarded the “Best Student Performer” honor in his final Advanced Contract Drafting & Negotiation class. He also competed on the school’s IP/Transactional LawMeet Team.

Before joining The Law Offices of Jonathan Wheeler, Mario interned at the Prosecuting Attorney’s office of Hancock County and at the Office of General Counsel for one of the world’s largest multiline property and casualty insurers.

Today, Mario is honored to represent clients throughout the region as Partner at what is now known as Wheeler, DiUlio, & Barnabei. Mario concentrates his practice on insurance litigation, including first party property damage claims and bad faith claims. With his background in business, entrepreneurship, and legal drafting, Mario focuses on commercial insurance disputes, business entity formation, and corporate transactions. He also handles property management and landlord/tenant disputes.

He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well as the States of New Jersey and West Virginia. He is also licensed to practice in United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as well as the District of New Jersey.

Having played sports throughout his youth, Mario is an avid sports fan. He also likes to attend musical concerts, follow the latest TV shows/movies, explore Philadelphia’s many festivals and social events, travel and spend time with his extensive family.
