Courtney Rodgers

    Courtney Rodgers is an associate with the firm. She works on complex insurance litigation matters ranging from property damage disputes to car accidents and slip and falls. While in the office, Courtney conducts legal research, drafts discovery responses and motions, and prepares our files for litigation. She also shines outside of the office where she handles arbitrations and municipal court hearings, fighting for the rights of our clients against Insurance Companies.

    Courtney graduated from the University of Delaware in 2012 with dual degrees in psychology and criminal justice where she was named to the Dean’s List [and was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority]. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law.

    While there, she completed her co-op placement with Spector Gadon & Rosen. Prior to joining the firm Courtney/Ms. Rodgers was a clerk at Banks Law and a Judicial Fellow for the Honorable Marlene Lachman in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Courtney has done pro bono through the Marshall Brennan Program and recently received an award for outstanding pro bono service from the First Judicial District.

    When she is not hard at work on motions or fighting in court, she is exploring the Philadelphia food and music scene.

Mario Barnabei

    As a partner at The Law Offices of Jonathan Wheeler, Mario Barnabei is committed to helping his clients succeed in reaching their goals. He works diligently toward securing the best results possible for the clients he represents, no matter how complex the matter at hand.

    Mario grew up in Weirton, West Virginia, a small suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Before attending law school, Mario graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University in 2008 with a degree in Political Science & Pre-Law/Legal Studies. While continuing to work full-time, Mario went on to obtain a Masters degree in Business Administration from West Virginia University.

    Mario moved to Philadelphia in 2010 to attend Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law. During law school, Mario concentrated his studies in Business & Entrepreneurship Law & Intellectual Property Law. He also honed his writing skills by taking two full years of legal research and writing/drafting classes, which culminated in his being awarded the “Best Student Performer” honor in his final “Advanced Contract Drafting & Negotiation” class. He also competed on the school’s IP/Transactional LawMeet Team.

    Before joining The Law Offices of Jonathan Wheeler, Mario interned at the Prosecuting Attorney’s office of Hancock County and at the Office of General Counsel for one of the world’s largest multiline property and casualty insurers.

    Now, Mario concentrates his practice on insurance litigation including first party property damage claims and bad faith claims. Due to his background in business, entrepreneurship, legal drafting, Mario focuses on commercial insurance disputes, business entity formation, and corporate transactions. He also handles property management and landlord/tenant disputes.

    He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well as the States of New Jersey and West Virginia. He is also licensed to practice in United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as well as the District of New Jersey.

    Having played sports throughout his youth, Mario is an avid sports fan. He also likes to attend musical concerts, follow the latest TV shows/movies, explore Philadelphia’s many festivals and social events, travel and spend time with his extensive family.

Anthony DiUlio

    Anthony, or Tony as we know him around here, is our trial specialist. Tony has focused his entire career on being an amazing trial attorney. Tony studied at Drexel’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law.

    While in law school, Tony was a member of Drexel’s Nation Trial team. He competed in four separate national competitions and was a member of Drexel’s first Region Championship team.

    Following law school, Tony joined The Law Offices of Jonathan Wheeler where he would quickly have a chance to test his trial skills. Tony quickly showed his training paid off. He was a trial lawyer through and through. He has handled hundreds and hundreds of Arbitrations. Tony has tried jury trials, bench trials, and every other kind of dispute you can imagine. He has settled multi-million dollar claims but works hard even for the little guys.

    As a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the Young Lawyers Division of the PTLA, Tony is dedicated to making sure he is always up to date on everything trial related. Tony is also an honorary member of MAPIA, the Mid-Atlantic Public Insurance Adjusters where he offers advise and serves to Public Adjusters from all over the Tri-State area.

    In his free time, Tony is a bit of an adventurer. He enjoys mountain biking, traveling, and spending time with his family and dog Maximus.
